Introduction

This Briantrust Privacy Policy describes how Briantrust Group and its subsidiaries (individually, and collectively, “Briantrust”, “us” , “our”, and “we”) collect and process your Personal Information and Personal Data, as defined by applicable privacy laws and regulations (hereinafter “Personal Data”) for the activities described below, including, but not limited to, when you visit our websites, when you use Briantrust’s products and services, when you apply for a job at a Briantrust entity, and when you attend any of our events (online and offline). This Privacy Policy describes your choices and rights related to your Personal Data.We only collect the information you choose to give us, and we process it with your consent, or on another legal basis; we only require the minimum amount of personal information that is necessary to fulfill the purpose of your interaction with us; we don't sell it to third parties; and we only use it as this Privacy Statement describes.

Collected Personal information

The Processing of Personal Information

The personal information collected and processed by Briantrust is collected to provide the agreed Briantrust Services and to ensure correct billing of agreed licenses fees.

  • We use your User Personal Information to identify you on Briantrust, to fill out your profile, and to monitor user behavior and performance when using the Briantrust Service.

  • How Briantrust Secures Your Information

    Briantrust takes all measures reasonably necessary to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of Users’ personal information, username, password, transaction information and data stored on with the Briantrust Service. Sensitive and private data exchange between the Briantrust and its Users happens over a SSL secured communication channel and is encrypted and protected with digital signatures.

    Sharing Personal Information with Colleges or Universities or Other Third Parties.

    Briantrust shares your personal information with the college or university you are attending if your use of the Briantrust service is used as an integrated part of your education. Briantrust provides access for teachers and professors (and other members of faculty) to your usage of and performance with the Briantrust service with the purpose of monitoring and evaluating your performance and use of the Briantrust service, in order to give you grades or to help you improve your performance or to improve the overall use of the Briantrust Service as an integrated part of your education. However, do not share your personal information with any other third party.

    Tracking and Analytics

    We use a number of third party analytics and service providers to help us evaluate our users' use of Briantrust; compile statistical reports on activity; and improve our content and website performance. We only use these third party analytics providers on certain areas of our website, and all of them have signed data protection agreements with us that limit the type of personal information they can collect and the purpose for which they can process the information. In addition, we use our own internal analytics software to provide features and improve our content and performance.
